Ev's 5th single from the upcoming album 'God Save The Crown' comes to us April 19th, 2019. This one, titled 'High', will be accompanied by another video from Strike Films, and is yet another song featuring beat production from Atlanta's Kato on the Track. The lead up to the album has been a fast build of anticipation as each song brings more attention to what this Canadian emcee has in store for us in 2019. On the lead up to his first European tour, Ev has a couple songs to drop, this one just in time for 4:20, the title is a bit misleading though. It's not just another run of the mill weed song, so Ev is giving it to you a day early to get you tripping in a different light!

Ev is one of few Canadian independent rappers ever to be chosen to play on the station. So tune in and see how he does.

Next up for Ev! March 16th, 2019, which also happens to be my birthday, Ev kicks off his 2019 show schedule with a show with Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko! Show goes down at Coors Event Centre, and will no doubt be absolutely bananas.
Ev will have his full display of new merch, a completely revamped live set full of new music, plus a limited amount of promotional CD's album available as well.

Who is Ev Thompson?
Ev Thompson has accomplished a lot of in a relatively short career thus far. His last three independently released projects all charted multiple times in the National Top 10 Hip-Hop Charts on Canadian College radio, he has toured internationally multiple times, has a an album produced by a Juno credited producer (Rel McCoy - Shad, Ghetto Concept), an album featuring production from a WCMA winning producer (Factor Chandelier - Def3 Wildlif3), and his newest release 'God Save The Crown' (May 17th, 2019) contains beat production from Atlanta based producer Kato (formerly of Funk Volume Records), and has already spawned 5 music videos.
Ev Thompson has hundreds of shows to his credit across 5 Canadian provinces, and 9 American states, many of which he booked himself. He has toured Canada consistently as a headlining act as well as being main tour support for many accomplished artists such as Merkules and Evil Ebenezer of the Stomp Down Killaz, Dragon Fli Empire, Ghettosocks, and Rel McCoy; and he has toured the United States as main support for LA rap legend Abstract Rude multiple times, as well as Scarub of Living Legends. Ev has also shared stages with Rittz, Jarren Benton, Chris Webby, R.A. The Rugged Man, Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Ill Bill, Slaine, Apathy and Celph Titled, SonReal, Snak The Ripper, Open Mike Eagle, Moka Only, Kirby Dominant of Paranoid Castle, Kyprios, Abstract Artform and many more.
Ev Thompson maintains an active schedule; he has played festivals such as Northern Touch Music Festival in Winnipeg, the Parks Festival in Kelowna, Electric Love in Chilliwack, BC, and he has showcased at Canadian Music Week multiple times.
