Ev Thompson has accomplished a lot of in a relatively short career thus far. Three of his independently released projects charted multiple times in the National Top 10 Hip-Hop Charts on Canadian College radio, he has toured internationally multiple times, has a an album produced by a Juno credited producer (Rel McCoy - Shad, Ghetto Concept), an album featuring production from a WCMA winning producer (Factor Chandelier - Def3 Wildlif3), his 2019 LP 'God Save The Crown' (May 17th, 2019) contains beat production from Atlanta based producer Kato (formerly of Funk Volume Records), and has spawned 6 music videos. His 2020 LP 'Roller Coaster' was named to SaskMusic's top albums of 2020, and in 2021 and 2022 Ev's group HarveyDent released 3 projects as well.
Ev has also been nominated for 2021's Saskatchewan Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year, as well as 2017's CUT Awards Prairie Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, and 2018's Unsigned Only Awards Single of the Year for '3Peat.' 3peat was also featured on Eminems Satellite radio station Shade45 on the Lord Sear Special.
Ev Thompson has over 500 shows to his credit across 5 Canadian provinces, 9 American states, as well as experience touring Europe. He has toured Canada consistently as a headlining act as well as being main tour support for many accomplished artists such as Merkules and Evil Ebenezer of the Stomp Down Killaz, Dragon Fli Empire, Ghettosocks, and Rel McCoy; and he has toured the United States as main support for LA rap legend Abstract Rude multiple times, as well as Scarub of Living Legends. Ev has also shared stages with Rittz, MayDay!, Jarren Benton, Chris Webby, R.A. The Rugged Man, Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, SonReal, Snak The Ripper, Myka 9, and many more.
Ev Thompson maintains an active schedule; he has played festivals such as Northern Touch Music Festival in Winnipeg, New Skool Rules in The Netherlands, the Parks Festival in Kelowna, Electric Love in Chilliwack, BC, and he has showcased at Canadian Music Week multiple times.
Ev's fan base has grown significantly this past few years, and he has received funding from Creative Saskatchewan, The Saskatchewan Arts Board and SaskMusic. Ev Thompson is well on his way to captivating a much larger fan base and solidifying himself as an artist to be taken seriously in Canada and across the world.
